Striker operator guide

With the launch of Operation New Blood, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege will include two Recruits called Striker and Sentry. While this is only a re-work of the operator known until today as Recruit, its concept is fully changing with the launch of our new favorite pair.

Here's everything you need to know about Striker, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege's newest attacker!

Who is Striker?

Unfortunately, we don't know much about Striker yet. However, Striker can't be compared to any other operator included in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. After all, Striker is a recruit, which means this operator doesn't have a proper ability.

Despite the lack of a unique gadget, Striker's power is located in its versatility. Keep on reading to know more about Striker's loadout and devices!

Striker's loadout

Striker is a two-speed, two-health operator who has access to two primary and two secondary guns.

While all of this feels pretty common, his unique trait is that he has access to any attacking gadget included in the game and can carry two with him to the battlefield.

Here's a look at all of the weapons and devices Striker can use:

Primary Weapons

  • Maverick's M4
  • Capitão and Gridlock's M249

Secondary Weapons

  • Ash and Thermite's 5.7 USG
  • Jackal and Frost's ITA 12S

Gadgets

  • Stun Grenades
  • Hard Breaching Charges
  • Fragmentation Grenades
  • Impact EMP
  • Smoke Grenades
  • Claymore
  • Soft Breaching Charge

How to use Striker in Rainbow Six Siege?

Despite still being a recruit, Striker is a versatile attacker. Here are some combinations you can use to get the best out of Striker:

Hard Breaching Charges and Impact EMPs

Combining Hard Breaching Charges with Impact EMPs is the obvious combination as that allows Striker to unelectrify reinforced walls and hatches before destroying them with the hard breaching charge. For instance, Striker could be a nightmare for the Kaid Electroclaws placed on Clubhouse's Kitchen and Bar hatches.

Claymores and Breaching Charges

Claymores can protect Striker while the operator places its charges. It can be quite useful on maps like Bank or Kafe, where Claymores are very important.

Stun Grenades and Smoke Grenades

Combining two types of grenades can be a good idea as Striker can be used to burn Jäger's ADSs and Wamai's disks.

Can two or more players use Striker at the same time?

Before Operation New Blood, multiple players could use Recruit in the same round. However, with the arrival of Striker and Sentry, players won't be able to do that anymore.

Additionally, both Striker and Sentry will be available on Ranked. This means that players will be able to use them in competitive matches!
